What?
Lost Weekend is a three day music festival with focus on modern music. Earlier years, bands such as Cardigans, Flaming Lips, Turboneger, Ralph Myerz and the Jack Herren Band, Madrugada and many more have performed on the scenes at the idyllic venue. The lineup is usually a mix of local up and coming artists, a some larger Norwegian ones and perhaps a few Scandinavian or even international bands.
In 2010, Lost Weekend can celebrate its 10th anniversary!
Where?
The festival is on Askøy just outside Bergen in Norway. Go here for a map of the area. The area, called Kollevåg, is a beautiful little spot with water on one side and mountains on the other. Visit our gallery to get some impressions from earlier festivals.
When?
In 2010 the festival is from August 7th to 9th. The camping site opens Wednesday at 12.00 pm.

Tickets aren’t available yet, but get your tickets from billetservice.no when they are. Price is approx. 1,100 NOK for the entire weekend and NOK 600,- for a single day. For those who wish to use our camping site there is a NOK 200,- camping fee.
Lineup
We’re currently booking bands for 2010. In 2009 the lineup consisted of bands such as:
- Timbuktu & Damn! – A Swedish rapper influenced by folk, blues, West African and Jamaican music. His lyrics are in both English and Swedish. He has released seven albums and in 2008 he released a single via The Pirate Bay.
- I Was A King – cacophonous, psychedelic, power-pop from Norway. Has been deemed “royally brilliant” in NME and also The Independent, The Times, and The Guardian have praised this new band.
- Kakkmaddafakka – These party animals will surely get it going no matter what. With two tours around USA, Germany under their belt and a summer touring across Europe, Kakkmaddafakka will be more than ready for you when they enter the stage at Lost Weekend 2009.
- Marit Larsen should have repeated her success from her last performance in 2005 but unfortunately she had to cancel due to promotion of her new album in Germany. Marit Larsen is a young yet very experienced Norwegian artist. Started her career in the duo “M2M” about ten years ago. Performed at the 2008 Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo.
- Superfamily – This award-winning Norwegian band had their breakthrough in 2007 with the song “The Radio Has Expressed Concerns About What You Did Last Night” which was the most played song on the Norwegian radio station P3.
